PvE gear downscale in PvP in phase two..

I'm wondering how it will work here
on retailed it was like this:
at the start of Grievous season , all pve gear was downscaled to 496 ilvl (Tyranicall ilvl) in arenas and battlegrounds and then gained 1 ilvl per week until 512 or 516 (can't remember exactly) .. and Grievous gear is 522 ilvl

and something for the developers if they read this .. the legendary meta gem(and cloack) shouldn't proc in pvp scenarios (rated bgs and arenas)

PvE gear will start at 522 for normals and 535 for heroics. It won't be downscaled.

WTF!? but it was supposed to be downscaled in pvp. why? because you can literally oneshot people with pve heroic gear ...

Oh I think I get it now. If you refer to downscaling it ONLY in BGs/Arenas yes it should be downscaled and I guess it will be.
However it won't be downscaled in any other scenarios.

Yes.
I think I wasn't very clear about the scenario in which the PVE gear should be downscaled.

Now .. I don't think it's that complicated to do.
In Arenas and Battlegrounds all PVE gear above a certain ilvl should be downscalde to a blizzlike(for this pvp season) value between 496 and 512

As I said before, the pve downscale in arenas and battlegrounds was done like this :
At the start of the Grievous season all PVE gear was downscaled in arenas and bgs to 496 and then they added 1 point of ilvl a week until 512

No PVE gear was above 512 in arenas and bgs.
Blizz gave it a lot of thought because they didn't want a scenario in which a pve item would be better than a best in slot pvp item.

My suggestion regarding this:
Raise the bar with 4 ilvl every month until 512
So now it should be 496 , month 2 500 , month 3 504 , month 4 508, month 5 512 .
And that's the max.. after that it should stay at 512.

The downscale is a must. I've recently got a pve 522 trinket(8800 strength) and it's insane, i can kill anything through def cds.

Why this wasn't a priority first, srrsly? There are players in arenas with 541ilvl who shot people because Gms don't give a *** about priorities...

No , you got this wrong , we one shot only people that do not have full grievous gear or that dont have any clue what cc means . But yet again this is a private server and people who buy gear should have some benefits one way or another . And also I dont think there are so many players that are full bis geared to come and one shot you .

But as a general fact , there is currently no downscale ( Like it was in phaze 1 )

actually you can 1shot everyone. i can kill anyone in a 5second stun and i`ve got only 1 530 trinket(bought with valor), think about full pve guys. Ok, you`re right there aren`t many players with full gear, but in ~3/4 months the pve players can gear way better than pvp players.

There are already players who donate for full pve gear and they dominate in pvp aswell just because of the overwhelming gear right now..
