So before Malevolent season ended we were said that mmr system is going to be fixed (For those who don't know this is how season ended https://armory.freakz.ro/malevolent_ladders/2v2.html https://armory.freakz.ro/malevolent_ladders/3v3.html) Obviously everyone having that much rating means something is wrong.
Now it's been like 2 months since Grievous season was added and people are already getting insane numbers. For example i am playing for cap ONLY and i am already 2.8k which obviously isn't okay. Problem are those weird + 24 rating gains, basically every time someones MMR is higher than rate by 100 they receive +24 rate even against 1500 mmr team.
I am not bitching or anything it's just that maybe if some newcomer is looking at arena armory he will be like " Is this fun server? How does everyone has such high rate?"

That's true. I've stopped playing for 3 weeks(where i were near 2400 rate and i was top 10), and in 3weeks max rate is 3100. They reached 3 in ~ a month and a half, if that's ot suspicious, then idk what to think about it. I think someone should verify once again the mmr system. The +25 it's not okay at all.

Yea, so this seems to be a pretty sweet season of arena. Especially when people already got 3000+ rating, after almost four days.

Yea, they can pretty much just quit wow now and start when next season ends, and yet have atleast a gladiator title.

^ Even if that is true and its not but okay just tell me or provide me with some solid proof that you are supposed to get 24 rate every time your mmr is higher by 100 even against 1500 team.

Intr-o arena vs team cu 900 mmr mai mic iau 24 si vs team cu 300 mmr mai mic iau 2 rate.

In an arena vs team with 900 lower mmr => 24 rate and vs team with 300 lower I take only 2 rate.

^ pretty much this. There is no way you could prove that guy playing for cap only can get 2.8k rate, makes 0 sense. Try that on retail and u'll see how far u'll get.

yeah, mmr system needs some corrections even if it's blizzlike because we know their game is far from perfection, i can see 2s rating going up to 3.5k+ again in a couple of months which is kinda stupid, a perfect mmr system i think 3k-3.2k should be tops in 6-12months in a season, but also i think the problem now in mop is that seasons last wayyy too long because they are tied to phases, look at last season [malevolent], it lasted roughly 1 year, maybe in prideful you will start making shorter seasons 3-6 months, it just makes arenas more fun and competitive.

I must agree. It will be way better if we'll have like 2/3 season on the same phase.

Why is this being ignored? If it stays like this we are probably going to have 4k rated teams before season ends which will make us look like some custom server.
There is simply no logic when lets say 2.9k rated team gets 25 rate against 1.6k.. @shocker
