[Priest][Shadow] Dots damage fluctuating in pvp as if mastery is gone

Bug description: Dots damage fluctuate as if I lose the mastery bonus. It happens in pvp. I can see it happening when im out of void form, while in void form its rly hard to check.
The indicators im using are spell tooltips and combat log numbers. The bug can happen randomly while in combat, after being attacked, after mounting, after void form ends, after ress.
Getting out of shadow form and then again in shadow form seems to fix it. Mastery provides dmg increase to void bolt also, but I could not provide any proof for the bug happening in void form.

This probably has to do with the lingering insanity buff and other haste buffs, dot damage will change according to the amount of haste you have.

Haste changes only the amount of ticks i get, but as you can see here actual dmg goes down by a lot. And as i explained it happens even when im not in combat.. just afk and not casting.

You should not snapshot anymore , unless you are a feral. So lets say you had concordance up and you were doing 50k once concordance is down you are doing 40k nothing wrong with that.

I know about snapshotting... in my screenshots you can see the damage going below normal/non-buffed values.

Because of defensive cooldowns.

In one screenshot the warr has nothing on him so lets say you are doing 50k, then he got regen which give him damage reduction which means you are doing 30k, then regen ends but he got enrage up which give him damage tanken increasd so now you are doing 60k. I cant really look thru all those combat logs...

Found 1 way to reproduce it almost always: play with lingering insanity talent. After the buff expires (or at the last 1-2s remaining) you can see it happen and now your dots will do less than normal damage. My assumption that you lose all your mastery is true cuz when this happens you can check void bolt dmg in spells book, which is also lower.

when you are in voidform you also get the Mass hysteria buff, which buffs your dot's for every second you are in voidform. when you go out of voidform your dots will instantly go back to their 'normal' damage.
unless you can provide proper proof that this is not the case I'll reject this topic.

Hello barney!
I dont know why you bring mass hysteria into the topic... im aware of shadow priest traits, talents, spells, but are you tho? So by normal dmg i mean NON-BUFFED SHADOWFORM PRIEST AND NO DMG REDUCTION ON TARGET. In void form everything is working fine..as i said in my other comments... after void form ends -> spells go to buffed value cuz lingering insanity haste buff, and after lingering insanity ends -> instead normal value, spells go even lower ->you lose your mastery, cuz VT,SWP, void bolt have even lower tooltip/actiual dmg for dots than NORMAL values...
Right now the bug is happening to me every battleground...Could you actually login and do a bg as shadow priest, and see for yourself? Every stat change seems to trigger it and you lose mastery dmg....ONLY WHEN IN SHADOWFORM

ps1: anytime you have a buff like Warmth of the Phoenix or Master of Combinations, bug wont trigger

Thanks for the video, it's clear what's going on now.

I still have no idea what is causing this but the bug is confirmed.
