You do realize that will still be the case right ? Having MoP gear on you wont affect battlegrounds at all , and if you are not familiar with legion pvp then oh well... gear is irrelevant , 10ilvls equals a 1% upgrade so yeah you kinda make no sense.

I think people dont care that much about just transfering a lvl 90 character, the idea is that they want their achievement points and their mounts, etc which beside showing off it wont give any advantage over new players

Best as we rekindle shocker if those old would still be able to transfer their accounts (put criteria to bring proof that they satisfy the options. such as minimum 9k achiv points, minimum 100 mounts, minimum 20 titles etc)
Hopefully we will do so in playerii how old I could say Freakz's veterans not to lose everything they have worked so far.

Not everyone is interested in gazilion achievements and not everyone has time to do it.

I personally have one achiv 11k points but was just one example. This criterion does not necessarily can be done when you first achiv age or other things. @MikiQ22

Im rather interested in what is going to happen to the MoP server itself. When you read through the forum there are always only talks about how this server is and that it is the best server around. Looking just at pvp, many classes still have a lot of crucial bugs that don't even get looked at and all im wondering is, if you are starting a legion server now. Will MoP just stay unfixed? I mean atleast 90% of your time will get dedicated to legion...

Let's be honest from now on. You don't want characters transfer because you want donations. Do you think this will make old players donate? I suggest you checking how did donations go from the point where we have been taken SPECIAL MOUNTS AWAY which were included in the price as a rule and then taken away because they were "special". I still recall butthurt from that day because it was so intensive and it still exists to that day. If you state a rule and then change it meanwhile Just please do not punish players who used this rule before. I will recall this situation because it was like this:
>go to shop
>buy tv
>tv has a promotion and you get a pc for free
>after 2 years of using pc there is a guy coming to your house stating that promotion has ended and he has to take this pc away

Where was logic in all of that? There was no, there is no in this situation again, DISALLOWING character transfer will not make players donate more, thanks for your attention.

What if you allow transfer but make the transfered character become level 1 and lose his items? This way we will still have our pets/mounts/achivs and still be paired with newcomers.

That would make more problems than solutions. What if, for example the character in question has loremaster? Since he already completed every quest he would have to grind to level cap.

Only mounts, pets and some achivs(Feats of Strenght?) then? At least that would be something, since you wont have to farm all the mounts and pets again. I currently have 470 unique pets, many at level 25. It would be nice if i could keep them and i wont have any advantage against newcomers.

My two cents here are that it is best to copy characters but delete everything that would give someone any advantage over others. As in, keep mounts/titles/achievements (cosmetics basically) but delete gold, any other currencies, legendary items(meta gem, items, whatever) stay on MoP realm etc. This way we start wtih lvl 90 characters whose really only "advantage" would be the higher level, which is nothing cause 1-90 doesn't take too much time considering the XP rate on Freakz; but older players still get to keep their cosmetics from MoP and before.

And everyone would be happy.

Me fullga and aland we ve got over 17 k achiv points.I'm playing here since 2010, and now i will start form the begining ??Many ppl i will to legion realm because it s somwthing new and will remain less than 700 ppl playing MOP.I think it s no so hard to copy every character from mop to legion, and in this way every 1 will be happy.Cheers
