How to connect from non-Romanian country during the DDoS attack

Greetings,

I'm gonna tell you how i'm connect even if I live in England.
You need to use a Romanian proxy-server, using this Tutorial :



First, download this : http://www.proxifier.com/download.htm
Take the standard edition, install it and launch it.

Then, go to : http://www.proxynova.com/proxy-server-list/country-ro/
Here is a list of Romanian proxy-server.

Once Proxifier is launch, click on :
Profile > Proxy Servers > Add

In the Add Window, enter the IP and PORT of one of the proxy which is in the second link.
Then, click one HTTPS.
Then, click on check.

If " PROXY IS READY TO WORK WITH PROXIFIER " is write at the end of the check, click on OK. If not, choose an other server and restart this tutorial..
Accept all the pop-up shown after by Proxifier.
Make sure that the proxy you just choose is write in :
Profile > Proxification Rules > Localhost (ACTION) AND Default (ACTION).
If not, click on it and choose the proxy you want to connect to.

Then, enjoy your game.

If you have some issues by using Proxifier, post your question, I'll reply as fast as I can.

PS :This method is not working everytime, so quit and restart Proxifier and WoW.

Not able to try it yet. Lappy is killing me = =.

I'll give it a try tommorow, hopefully we'll be able to run it natively as soon as molten or whoever realizes the community is too good here to beat. Plus all freakz servers are top notch.

DW man anybody who actually cares who wrote the tut, will know it was posted by your first. Still I don't think he was stealing. I think he came upon it himself, as proxy changing is nice and simple. And its his first post so he probably didn't know someone else had a tut.

Thanks. I don't mind how often it's being posted, actually. It makes more players play again and the DDoS less effective. But there have been 6 or more posts about proxying to a Romanian IP, so your traffic doesn't get cut, already. Would be easier to keep it to the existing threads. Or at least if you have to add something, provide the original link.

how does usign this method affect ur other itnernet games say liek secondlife or downloading formthe itnernet i mean does it change ur ip number or what befor ei do it id liek to know exactly what it does if possible because as much as i love freakz i do alot of stuff onthe net plus run my business as well.

sometimes you can still get a dc .. just like some ro playes can get a dc

about other games/apps .. just enable it ionly for wow and no other thing will be affected , my posts shows "from USA" even if im connected to the game thru the proxi

Whatever ..only thing that count we want to Freakz go back to normal ..past 4-day we was unable to play guild raids ..etc . 80 % off people cannot join... And we wanna to stay on Freakz for a long time.

ive used proxifier , ive set everything up normal and everything connects fine, i can connect to wow and all that fun stuff but i still get stuck at connecting on exodus and exodus only its not the server, ive tried modifying my realmlist and all that but it still isnt going to the char screen on login. any suggestions?

The thing is that the working proxy servers that are able to connect to Exodus can be counted on the fingers of my right hand. Also it seems that there's a limit of connections via 1 proxy IP which leads to big amount of people not able to connect regardless the fact that the IP is actually active and working.

Maybe if we had a Freakz proxy that can maintain big amount of connections that won't get closed by the Log In server would help in general. But ofc that's in the area of the good wishes So far in the best case scenario at least my guild is able to run only 10mans .. which is something considering the fact that there's ppl that haven't done a single raid for more then a week.

As for now i'll keep searching for new working IPs (not that i'll find one,but there's always hope) .

So for the people that can't connect. The problem is not in you. I know that you're tired or hearing/reading that but just be patient. Pretty soon everything will be ok.
