Things that should be discussed

To start this, i want to tell you this topic will include some QQ, but you should keep in mind that most of the problems i bring up here are more like criticises to improve the server and you should consider them asap.

In the past, i told you to keep in touch with people that can bring you different perspective on the subjects, people that have experience in this game and they are not blindfolded by any other reasons and who are open to balance things in both PvE and PvP. If the staff members did not play or don't have time to play this game so they can't see how unbalanced are some things atm, you should just ask the community. I`ve been given the answer "Have patience and you will see", that's not how things works when you want to bring the best for the community. You need to have a close communication between the staff and decent players that understand how things works. I can give you enough examples when you gave us that kind of answer, you implemented something which could have been better, people criticised the way you did it and then you guys are still bringing us answers like "You are never happy with what we do". Yes, shits like this happens because you either rush and don't tell us what are you doing so we can criticise it before it goes live.

A good example of how things should work in every aspect of this server it is the bug report topic about PvP Resilience where people came up with suggestion and Shocker was "working" with the people until he got it to work the way it should for this phase before it went live.


Now let's start with the problems that pissed me off and made me write this topic:
1. I asked a question in the main MoP discussion thread that somehow disappeared from Romanian Zone "when MoP will be live, will we get conquests items based on rating requirement?". And the answer from a staff member (or a moderator that should know what answers to give, i don't remember) was "yes, we will"
MoP got released and we still don't have the rating requirements on conquests items. It`s been 2 weeks already and probably people already bought parts from the set that meant to be bought with rating requirement but it's fine, not that many people got them but you should probably work on this or else you will tell us that a wipe to add rating requirement on items is not an option like you did during Cataclysm.

2. @rating requirement, i`ve heard you want to add rating requirement based on 2s. No, that's not the point of rating requirement at all and it wouldn't change anything. We asked for low rating requirement from 3s between 1300-1800 rating so we get an better active 3s ladder. That's the whole point of rating requirement, to promote the 3s ladder.

3. MoP is live for like 2 weeks and we don't have arena opened. I would like to know why did you put the conquest gear on donation shop so quickly? Yes, i know server needs donors and i know how important are donations to keep up the server but you enabled this way too fast. Not to mention that you didn't enabled only the gear, but also T2 weapons which *** up things so badly because in MoP, it's all about the gear that you have in both PvE and PvP.
Arenas are not opened, people barely started to clear the bosses that are implemented and adding these PvP weapons will *** up the PvE progression aswell because for the gear that we own atm, those are BiS weapons.

4. There are no epic gems in MoP, those gems that you saw were on the prepatch or Beta, and when MoP was released there were no epic gems ever. First those gems were on vote shop and now they are obtainable only on donation shop. It shouldn't be implemented via vote shop nor donation shop, it's a custom thing that affects both PvP and PvE drastically because there is no normal way to get in touch with those gems ingame unless you donate.



PS: i`ve made this topic here because i don't want to see romanian trolls or people who go offtopic with their trash talks, so keep your replies on topic.

if you care enough for this server to be competitive in pvp like it was in lich king, try to be more careful about your actions.

Itemele pe conquest au requirement (daca dai click pe ele si ai conquest sa le cumperi o sa vezi ca iti spune ca-ti trebuie 1750/2200/whatever)....chestul nu are requirement si posibil nici hands (am testat pt shoulderi/head/legs). Ideea cea mai proasta a fost sa puneti armele de elite la donatii pt ca efectiv pvp powerul ala + statisticile imense fata de albastrele pe care le avem noi fac un imbalance major.

The second week i went to buy a piece, i saw a guy with conquest shoulders. Is it based on the rating you own in statistics or based on curent rating? I don't have enough conquest points to try it myself atm.

If it's based on curent rating, once they open arenas, the second problem that i mentioned will persist even more because people will play only 2s to get the rating, which means it will promote the 2s ladder and that's not the point.

Who needs arenas when you have all the pandaria quests and dungeons working? Even few raid bosses are working.. but what about arena? nope. Not even bgs.. is it worth to wait 30-45 mins in a que for a 3 minute battleground?

We understand it takes time and patience to do this fixing, all the MMR stuff, matchmaking, but it's not like you are fixing pet battles (feature that nobody cares about), it's arena, some of us play wow only because of it..

Yeah, giving Conquest gear via donation before arenas were even implemented was a bad move. Just enable arenas and for *** sake, implement cross-faction bgs already, it's painful to stay in queue for 40 minutes just to attend a 40 vs 5 AV.

Currently pvp is impossible to do BG ques are way too long too many Aliance players almost none Horde players at least what stat window shows when I press que. Implementing arenas and cross faction BG-s wuld solve that problem but idk much about this server and its staff and are they able to do so, by what I seen I belive they are. And remove items from shop that are unavable ingame you culd add end game pve gear that way

Completely agree on this post especially with the arena part.

Many servers tend to keep their ratings quite high when the ladder is non-existent. As a new MoP server and people slowly adjusting, keep the requirements low to introduce the season as to give people a chance to get going and to increase activity in that specific ladder.

Yeah. The difference from an epic one and a rare one is 40. (Ex. rare one is 160 parry 160 mastery, the epic one is 200/200). They're unique-equipped and nobody will ever donate for them, anyway.
