Alliance players need to understand that in the last year most of the horde pvpers transfered to alliance. World PvP is fun if there's a challenge, a certain ballance between sides, but what's the challenge when 100 full dreadfull alliance will camp tol barad vs the 10-20 full pvp geared hordes that are still here? Or if you make a 40 man raid and come to Orgrimmar looking for a fight, and find 6 afk players in all of it. Those mass transferes ruined world pvp on this server, and until some big Alliance pvp guild moves to Horde, things won't change. Same goes for bgs, but that could be easily fixed at the moment with Cross-faction battlegrounds. You guys still care if after 30 minutes in queue you get to kill a tauren or a dwarf?

When the poll for Cross-faction bgs was held, the main argument was that bla bla bla it's wrong to fight against your own sides, WoW is about alliance vs horde conflict bla bla, but no one has a problem fighting ally vs ally in arenas, and seeing how things evolve, there won't be a lot of horde teams in queue. GMs decided that they won't implement this, fearing people will stop doing bgs, but what's stoping them from implementing it now? Horde players already don't join bgs anymore, and for the few Alliance players that will find it hard to kill a gnome, just grow a pair and do it

If you rly like pvping around, why dont you go play some MOBA's.. they are purely PVP and no pve related. There is rly all about skill and not ganking an unaware player while he's questing. Its a matter of choice and tastes.. we have diferent ones and so do the others folks.. Lots of Democracy around.

I do play MOBAs, that's not the point. The point is my choice of being a PvP-er doesn't affect your PvE experience. So neither should your choice of being a PvE-er affect my experience in PvP. I did PvE in my days, mostly because trinkets were really good back then, other than that, it's really not my thing.

Esti cel mai rupt din tot topicul. Explica-mi si mie ce pvp sa fac ma nene in BG-uri sa bat hordaci in verzituri cu iteme 280k hp, si mai ales ca in bg-uri mereu sunt 15 Ally vs 5 hordaci. Arene? esti nebun ti se pare tie ca merg arenele pe serveru asta?

puneti gresit problema, faptul ca dai enable la world pvp nu are treaba cu situatia BGurilor sau a arenelor. World pvp nu e pentru a face honor neaparat, e mai mult de distractie, si prin distractie nu ma refer la a campa pe unul pana da alt f4. dar n'ai ce sa le zici astora ce au descoperit wowu pe 4.3.4, ei cred ca world pvp se rezuma la a strange 5 oameni si a omori cativa playeri timp de o ora pana se satura aia si dau alt f4.

and for you foreign people who complain about "doing quests being impossible with pvp on" let me ask you something, do you prefer sitting in line to kill a quest mob for like 15 minutes, or would you prefer having the ability to kill the players? Because at the moment all daily zones are pretty much flooded with players. If they are not you play at "weird" hours, so world pvp won't affect you obviously.

I'm glad to see that Freakz's team has given us a chance to vote on that matter. Even if its illusion of choice, I'm still glad I can vote for neither.

You have given us a pool with 2 options only, for or against. Democracy is not about the tyranny of the majority. Its about defending interest of the minority, its comfort. Therefore you should have given us another choice - flag.

Nobody should be forced to do anything. I believe that the decision of being flagged for pvp, belongs to your players. On the other hand pvp players should have place where they can release their frustrations (no arenas, unbalanced bgs). In World of Dreanor, pvp zone called Ashran serves that purpose. We could exclude one zone from world peace just for pvp (Tol Barad? Ever since it has been nothing else but butchery).

Nobody's voice should be ignored. We should come up with a solution that please both sides. For now all I can think of is the flag system or pvp zone.

I understand your point.. and respect it.
But you also realize the world pvp affects the PvE experience (Reputations, Questing, Achievements, etc)..
While pve wont affect in any means the pvp! You wont getting anything besides free low amount of honor points.. thats it. Ye it can be fun to go around kill unsuspected players, raid cities and camps.. except for the other guy that was minding his own business and now cant do anything about it for 30m or an hour.

Well.. its not like PvE players will run into a BG or an Arena demanding you dps them with rules, or role-playing and respecting the lore of Alliance vs Horde!
PvE aint only Raids and RDF's..
