Don`t bother smashyx, you are not the only one or the first one that tries this necrotic post.
As Dreadblade continues to be a rank 1 dk , the only one with gargoyle , 50 k , per hit, and not to mention , the damage he does in bgs or arenas, triple sometimes then other, you will not solve nothing.
I`m wondering , why other dk`s with experience, could not make that damage like him , but he does.
In fact, there are a lots of dks, that can lower your HP in a second, with that necrotics, and then soul reaper, and then dead.
Like Exorcizare olso , when I`m 1 v 1 with him , with all my heart of the wild and craps, thouse necrotics are damageing me like shit, and then I die, I could not even , cast damage, because I must try to heal myself , as I can , but useless, it takes 5-6 seconds, and I` m dead.
it seems to me , that some dk, like Dreadblade, Exorcizare, Feelcakez , and other, know some thing that are overpowered and maybe are some exploits olso.
The thing is , that several people tried to post this necrotics shit, and everytime dreadblade or other , closed it , sometimes without any resons. ( and people with experience ) are doing thouse posts. but useless.
SO therefore , smashy , you will solve nothing, it will be like Dreadblade, it will keep comeing with some math numbers and other.

Shocker was careful enough to implement the correct formula regardless. Go test it for yourself and stop trying to prove it wrong without evidence. And test it on a player, not on a dummy.

PvP Power is an attribute found on pre-Warlords of Draenor gear that increases damage dealt and healing done.

PvP Power's bonus to healing is based on class and specialization:

Healing specializations receive a 100% bonus to healing from PvP Power.
Damage specializations for druids, monks, paladins, priests, and shaman receive a 70% bonus to healing from PvP Power.
All other specializations and classes (including tanking) receive a 40% bonus to healing from PvP Power.


Necrotic Strike:
A vicious strike that deals x% weapon damage, absorbs the next (225 / 100 * Attack power) healing received by the target. Lasts 10 sec.

Secondary effect doesn't do any damage, and pvp power AFFECTS DAMAGE for damage classes, DK is not a healer and and any helpfull abillity should benefit from 40% of the total amount of pvp power(death coil healing, ns absorb, etc). Absorb is categorized under healing for your information.


About that video, were is the proof ? when some bugs were posted here based on addon info all stated that addons are not reliable in providing that proof, yet somehow here we get the same shit and it's reliable because...? and beside that, the dk in the vid has kings equivalent and might and flask and perhaps full str reforge.

I don't think it's like that.
I see dk's necrotic absorb as the opposite of let's say disc absorbs.
Whereas power word shield puts a defensive shield on a friendly target ,that absorbs damage .. , a necrotic puts a offensive shield on a enemy target that absorbs healing.
See.. it's the exact opposite.

IMO necrotic absorbs are for damage what priest shields are for healing.
So following this logic, if a priest shield counts towards healing than a dk absorb should count towards damage.

Well, this is a Griev/tyran dk wih 45% pvp power.

With full pride he would have 62% pvp power.

Think of this dk with +15-20k ap and +16% pvp power and a tailoring enchant aswel. Necro will be 100k. 5% rezil won't reduce it to 80k.
