[List] Battle Pets related bugs

[Denim]

Post here all bugs regarding pet battles.

NPC :

- [FIXED] Audrey Burnhep - doesn't have the option to learn Pet Battle
- [FIXED] Gargra not spawned.
- [PENDING] Archmage Vargoth - doesn't give you Kirin Tor Familiar
- [FIXED] Crysa can't be battled and doesn't offer Crysa's flyers (daily account quest).
- [FIXED] Rocko can't be battled. proof
- [FIXED] The Maw is spawned slightly outside of the quest area. Proof

Spoiler:
Workaround : Use any harmless ability (like Provocation) to drag the NPC in the quest area then kite it far enough so it resets and immediately engage him. Becareful not to kill it and wait you're out of combat otherwise a right click will attack it.

- [FIXED] Hungry Icefang is level 98 (got mixed into the Broken Isles NPC scaling system), should be level 25. proof

Spoiler:
Workaround : Use Call Darkness + Nocturnal strike pets to win the battle.

- [PENDING] Nethaera's Light is missing in Northrend's Dalaran.
- [PENDING] Ashlei (the Draenor battle pet master)'s pet Doodle has a spell that's supposed to sleep you for a round, but instead freezes the round completely, forcing you to forfeit the battle.

Pets :

- [FIXED] Murkidan - displayed as another pet
- [FIXED] Brightpaw - displayed as Dwarf Gronnling outside of battles
- [PENDING] Blossoming Ancient displays random models when summoned instead displaying the one for the ongoing season (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). Proof
- [FIXED] The maw should be 1 pet with Legendary quality, instead of 3 rare quality pets.
- [PENDING] Boneshard should take damage after every Bonestorm, but instead he deals that damage to an enemy pet. PROOF
- [PENDING] Trigger has no stats, is dead, cannot be revived and disappears after a relog. A possible problem causing this, is there being 2 triggers (one with the item ID 132519 and another one with the item ID 136921 <- the latter works, but is obtainable only from the vote shop. The first one doesnt work properly) PROOF

- [FIXED] Pet cage - Caged pets turn into empty cage when placed on Auction House.
- [FIXED] Pet cage - Caged pets turn into empty pet cages when sent trhough mail or placed in a guild bank.

- [FIXED] Little fawn's salt lick - It does not learn the pet.
- [FIXED] Nut's acorn - It does not learn the pet.
- [FIXED] Mystery bag - No loot table.
- [FIXED] Fel-touched pet supplies - No loot table.
- [FIXED] Red Goren Egg doesn't drop from Goren Protector that are occasionnaly spawning from Draenor's mining nodes.
- [FIXED] Zoom doesn't teach you the pet as it should.
- [FIXED] Albino Chimaeraling doesn't teach you the pet as it should.
- [FIXED] Weebomination doesn't work at all.
- [FIXED] Igneous Flameling doesn't teach you the pet as it should.
- [FIXED] Hydraling battle pet isnt dropped by Varasha
- [FIXED] Azure crane chick doesn't teach you the pet as it should.






Note : For pets rewarded by achievement or quest that didn't learn you the pet after consuming the item, open a request here to get it back.

Battle rewards :

- [PENDING] Winning a battle should no longer reward Lesser charms of good fortune. proof
- [FIXED] Fel-touched pet supplies are not rewarded from winning battles against Tanaan's legendary pets (like Felsworn Sentry).
- [FIXED] Snowfang doesn't give Snowfang's trust when defeated.

Achievement :

- [FIXED] Tiny terrors in Tanaan is not working.
- [FIXED] Family Familiar does not have reward.
- [FIXED] Aquatic acquiescence is not working (all pet type achieve are suffering too).
- [FIXED] An Awfully Big Adventure is not working.

World quests :

- [FIXED] Dazed and confused and adorable is not implemented.
- [FIXED] Help a whelp is not implemented.
- [FIXED] Fight night : Amalia in not implemented.
- [FIXED] Fight night : Bodhi Sunwayver is not implemented.
- [FIXED] Fight Night : Heliosus is not implemented.
- [FIXED] Fight night : Sir Gavelston is not implemented.
- [FIXED] Fight night : Rats ! is not implemented.
- [FIXED] Fight night : Stitches Jr. Jr. is not implemented.
- [FIXED] Fight Night : Tiffany Nelson is not implemented.
- [FIXED] The master of pets is not implemented.
- [FIXED] Chopped ! is not implemented.
- [FIXED] Mana tap is disabled.
- [FIXED] Only pets can prevent forest fires is disabled.

Battle system :

- [FIXED] "Find battle" doesn't work in Legion and WoD zones.
- [FIXED] Experience gain is shared with max level pets too
- [PENDING] Experience gain amount given is too low. info
- [PENDING] Players can't chose a pet to fight first with during a PvP pet battle, instead the first slotted pet is automatically used.
- [FIXED] Pet swapping is submitted to each pet's speed, selecting this option should come first in a turn's sequence before anything else, even if CC (roots being the only exception). Proof
- [PENDING] Can't make pvp duels in dungeons and raids.
- [PENDING] When a pet is swapped out by any means, the opponent pet is attacking it in the backrow instead of attacking the new active pet.
- [PENDING] Death is ending the turn even for mechanical and undead pet, it also generates an extra turn just for chosing a new pet to fight with instead of ending the death turn by directly chosing the new pet.
- [PENDING] Swapping a pet that used a countdown-type ability (like Elementium Bolt) cause the ability to have no effect. proof
- [PENDING] (to test) using two or three copies of a same pet can be abused with buffs like reflective shield, beaver dam, etc
- [PENDING] (to test) multiple parts of a same pet ability hitting when the other part misses, pet abilities not submitted to hit system and still miss
- [PENDING] Pet battles do not award character XP as they should.

Wild pets and Tamers :

- [FIXED] Most pet tamers uses pets with random quality instead of rare/epic at higher levels.
- [PENDING] Regular wild pets encounters are always composed of three copies of the battled pet instead of being accompagnied by random critters.
- [PENDING] Legion's wild pets are only displaying one breed (B/B) even for those that comes without this breed on retail.
- [FIXED] Chromadon should be epic, alone and have Magic scales buff. Infos
- [FIXED] Blottis should be epic, alone and have both Elite and Septic Secretion buffs. Infos
- [FIXED] Vinu should be epic, accompagnied by two random quality wild pets from the region and have Boss buff. Infos
- [FIXED] Lil'Idan should be epic, alone and have Evasion buff. Infos
- [FIXED] Rocko should be legendary, alone
- [FIXED] Rocko should have Crumble buff and die from Crumbling after 10 turns have passed. Infos (added buff but it's not fully working, ignored for now)
- [FIXED] Catacomb pests should be all epics pet. Infos
- [FIXED] Master Tamer Flummox should legendary and have Elite buff. Infos
- [FIXED] Thistleleaf Bully should be epic, accompagnied by two random quality wild pets from the region and have Elite buff. Infos
- [FIXED] Hungry Icefang should be epic, accompagnied by two random quality wild pets from the region and have Elite buff. Infos
- [FIXED] Ominitron Defense System should be all epic pets. Infos
- [FIXED] The Maw should be legendary, alone and have Boss buff. Infos
- [FIXED] Stitches Jr. Jr. should be epic, alone and have Iron thread buff. infos
- [FIXED] Splints Jr. should be legendary, alone and have Elite buff. Infos
- [FIXED] Heliosus should be legendary, alone and have Rise from the Ash buff. infos
- [PENDING] Wild pets tend to be rare too often - apparently the above fix of adding rare pets to pet tamers was by mistake also applied to wild pets; now there are too many rare wild pets.

Battle pet racials :

- [PENDING] Undead and Mechanical pets lose their turn when dying, they should resume using their move after coming back to life.
- [PENDING] Undead pets are dying instantly if dealt a critical or strong attack against them after they come back to life.
- [PENDING] Mechanical pets deny the remaning hits from multi-hit abilities and dots when they die for the current turn.
- [PENDING] Elemental pets still suffers from negative weather effects.

Pet abilities :

- [FIXED] Puppies of the flame does damage to ally pets, not enemies.
- [PENDING] Blinding Poison lasts for 2 rounds instead of 1 round when you use spells with double effects
- [PENDING] Demolish should have 50% chance to hit instead of 100%.
- [PENDING] Decoy also blocks your own attacks (though it should only block enemies').
- [FIXED] Discharge doesnt properly transform pet into a critter for 2 rounds (debuff is shown, but beast spells still do the same damage).
- [PENDING] Beaver dam - pets still block attacks after the debuff is worn off everytime a new pet enters the fight.

Same here, my GF's Brightpaw is also summoned as a gronling outside of pet battles, however in pet battles brightpaw appears.

i got the http://www.wowhead.com/item=40653 from mail after getting the achievement, used it but did not get the pet. also, completing Higher Learning achievement you will obtain The Schools of Arcane Magic - Mastery. this item will teleport you to the top of a tower where you can get http://www.wowhead.com/item=44738 from https://www.wow-freakz.com/npc_finder.php?npc=19481 , but on freakz he doesnt give you the pet.

Hello i have buy molten corgi in your shop of battle pet.His skill puppies of the flame do dmg to my team ='( where as it would be do dmg to opponent.

Hello I have bought a pet through your wow shop of battle pet on another account and i sent it to mine , it told me i can t learn it unless i have a lv0 pet(don't know why 0 ) so i took a pet,after that i still couldn't learn it . And it doesn't show me the pet, the Teroclaw hatchling, it just shows me a pet cage . Please help me out.

Gargra an important dreanor Grand Master pet tamer in Dreanor is missing and needs to be spawned, This Npc is needed for multiple achievements related to battle pets along with a few daily pet tamer quests.

So on retail when u are changing the pet it should be done no matter who's speed is higher . If my pet has 260speed and the enemy 300speed and i want to swap my pet it should be done before he use his skill and after i do the swap he can finish his turn doing what he wanted. Even if i am stunned i should still be able to change my pet no matter what. Here i can swap it only when it would be my turn .
