Reviving PvP

You cant force ppl to do pvp if they dont want to.The server just needs more ppl who actually like doing pvp thats all,we dont need to remove anything,somehow we have to bring more ppl and that will increase the ques/ratings.

Ok u did what u did with /who and friend list to not show players if they are in arena or not. Now, if u don t wanna put arena spectate back just to show mmr could u make a command for 2v2 like 3v3 and soloq?

how to dodge without /who, friendslist, arena spectate:

1. Targeting dodged player and see when he dissapear from your target.
2. Guild Rooster: You can see in guild rooster the Zone where a player is in that moment.
3. You can dodge a player like turbo said, after you lose against a team you can simply not que anymore until they go offline.
4. You can also ask some "friends" ingame if X player is playing arenas and you can dodge simple as that.
So is so useless to remove an enjoyable feature from server, there are n* posibilities to dodge, you can't combat this.

spectate was a fun feature, many players simply enjoy watching other players play rather than queing themselves, bring it back!

I miss the arena spectate feature. It was a very fun aspect of the game.
That being said I respect Freak's initiative so I say : let's wait ~ a month to see if removing the npc has any effect on the ladder activity. If not.. bring it back

Although i voted for removal of the npc i totally think that the activity will reduce with every single day.Basically how a week of play on freakz goes for me is :

Monday comes i log in when i feel like i want to play then i get the 30 wins quest , play soloq until i get bored (by this time i'll be capped for the week) then i go offline and when i get totally bored during the week i log freakz to finish the quest and maybe play some 2s so i can keep my high cap for the next week.I spend the rest of the time when i want to play wow on other servers since i got nothing to do here...

The current situation goes worse and worse with every day and there's something that has to be done,otherwise PvP will be played by former 2k rated players getting rewards they won't deserve in the near future.(no offence in that,noone is good at everything,some people just don't know the game yet).

1. Useless, you don't know if he was teleported somewhere else or in the arena, also you can only target one player at a time
2. Lol, dodging your own guildmembers? Then just /gquit

More players can be found at dueling areas, where spectator npc's were. More dueling, talking, i'd say situation is better.

How u can even say that? Idk who are u or name of your main but i play 2s and soloq everyday and i can tell u i meet same players all the time.Even on 3s. Has always been players who were duelling and will always be.

With or without that NPC situation in PVP will remain the same. I prefer people dueling and talking in Elwyn Forest/Durotar than spectating somebody elses matches. You call your selves pvp players. Watching others does not make you a PVP player. I was here before that NPC was introduced for the first time and whoever was here at a time can say that situation was better. Maybe it had nothing to do with it, but it proves that PVP can be good without that thing. What do you get from spectating arenas? Nothing, you kill your boredom? Someone above said that he was logging just to spectate. If you are here just to be that +1 on players online list, you can leave. Removing that NPC means nothing to you. You are just like little kids whos just been taken their toys off in other words drama queens.

whatever has been said, at the end of the day the attempt to improve quality of arenas by removing arena spectate has failed, i say don't hesitate to bring it back, im having long ques even on soloq which a few weeks ago was very popular.
