Blizzard N E V E R wiped characters for any reason whatsoever and on newly opened realms they ALLOWED EVERYONE to transfer to them as if it was any other, even if it was for the sole reason of getting realms firsts. On new expansions they didnt force people to start from 1 with new characters if they wanted to keep playing the old expansions. All they had to do was block their exp gain via the NPC.
If you're going to compare this to what happens on retail then do it as blizzard does

I wasn't comparing it to retail since retail doesn't have vanilla/tbc/cataclsym. I was talking about the nostradamus predictions OMG MOP WILL DIE IF YOU DONT LISTEN TO ME thus I was pointing out that some previous expansions have even higher popularity than newer ones.

Also, the realm transfer you are talking about is for the same expansions, not different expansions.

Excuse my scepticism,but 10k players?Where are those 10k players you are hyping us about?Our peak on MoP (which people probably like more anyway) is 2.6k,in a stable income every day.

Do 2600 players ONLINE AT THE SAME TIME mean 2600 TOTAL SERVER PLAYERS to you? That 10.000 was an underestimation, there are easily 30k active players in a couple of weeks/month. Not mentioning the new players we're expecting to arrive.

Are mounts and pets going to be actually account-wide as the tooltips state or realm-bound because of how wow cores tend to work?

It's an other issue there, there's a lot of people that view the topic, a lot that doesn't even know this forum exists, a whole other lot that are too lazy to create an account here or don't know how to, etc.

Yes my initial approach was selfish but turns out quite some people are worried about the subject wether if they're for or against. Yes there's only a minority that is firmly persuading you to revoke one thing Freakz's staff decided but thank god there's some selfish people because many people remain silent even though they disagree with what their betters decide.

You keep saying that this is the best MoP server due to the scripts and work put in it, maybe it has good scripting but it is by far the best server, the best server is the one who cares about their players not only about money, more players, more money.

We start fresh, everyone's equal, older players get together into their guilds, they still pull ahead of new members due to experience on this server. Some people control the economy because they got lucky with drops => they get more gold and other resources than others. Older players get everything they needed (mounts they like, titles they want, achievements they want etc.) but it just takes longer due to having to grind it all again. Edit: Progress is slower because there's not much activity on new content, older players are annoyed about having to grind, server stagnates in terms of bug fixing and getting more content.

We get to transfer characters, older players get to 110 first, they still pull ahead of new members due to experience on this server. Those who got to 110 first control the economy, they get more gold and other resources. Older players already have what they needed so they focus on the new content, find bugs (unlike most new players who don't have a clue about bug reporting etc.), try to improve the server because they are actually happy that they got their cosmetics and not having to grind them and be annoyed about it. Edit: Progress is faster because that's how it's done, Freakz gets to be #1 Legion server. Nice.

Why don't we give a free level 100 character like the one you get if you buy the game? New players will get a boost.
