Reviving PvP

How about you play the game whenever you want and not stalk at NPC? Was is so bad that you couldn't play arenas without knowing who was in que before they added the npc spectate?
That's the whole point of removing the npc, 10 teams just afk near the npc waiting for someone high rated team to pop up instead of staying in que and just play the game.

No improvements, 2v2 is kind of dead @ 2000+ rating. Look at the ladder, its the same as 1 week ago.



I queued 2v2 this evening from 10PM to 2AM at ~2300 rating and got 1 rating per win, 4 rating per win at best. You cant climb the ladder, you have to wait for top15 teams to queue but you dont know when they are playing because we have no arena spectate npc. Who cares if this is blizzlike or not, we dont have that many players and arena spectate was a very good feature.

With arena spectate, you could see whos was playing and there were always players who had the balls to queue and counter the teams playing. And it was a pleasure for others to watch them playing. Now i have to spam both alliance and horde to join 2v2 and nobody is giving a damn.




People are just sitting in Elwyn / Durotar and do nothing but chat. After 5 minutes they log off because they have nothing to do and not willing to stay in queue for 1 rating per win.






I can see people agree / disagree with removing arena spectate, but if you look carefully 99% who disagree are actually people that are playing.

2v2 quest for 30 vote points and it's fixed. More motivation like kids and candies.

Not fun facing arcane mage and prot warriors.I'd rather play vs high teams.

Logged today after a while I didn't log here and I found arena spectate npc was gone. I felt like WTF why did they remove it, it was great.. Now I have 20 mins soloq waits and just the same 6-7 persons playing it on monday night, when conquest reset occurred just last night.. seriously? I can't even know if soloqs start because I can't check if the soloq teams are in. I'm playing right now and I'm just observing people hard-dpsing the dummies for 20 mins till a 3s soloq starts. About the dodge question and the afkers question around the spectate npc.. are you serious? If there are 2 ppl who want to play 2s they can queue regardless of the presence of the npc and people will find a way to dodge whatever you do. I'll be the first to stop queueing if I get against the same OP comp team for 2-3 times because I don't want to get farmed by some braindead kiddo who just spams 2 buttons and doesn't even know hot to play seriously and I won't be able to see if there is any other team playing. Let's face it, the problem is not the spectate npc, but the low presence of pvp players here. They are not motivated to join 2s/3s to reach high rating. There are some people who just donate for full prideful gear (baddest thing ever) and then rape someone in 2s/3s for a couple of weeks then stop queueing cuz they've got nothing to do and get tired. There are people who get full prideful gear by queueing and then stop because they don't find a reason in going on to reach high rating if they are already full at 1.7-1.8k rating. Spectate added something to do qhen you're tired of pve or you already did tons of arenas and just wanted to watch somebody else. Also, it's a good way to LEARN HOW TO PVP, at least for me, I learn something from every arena I watch and I can improve myself. Now, it's just blind queue vs somebody and hope they're not the same old teams for braindead players (UH-Healer / Ele-HolyPal). Please bring it back ASAP

You can add it back, it seems that the players that are requesting it to be back are in a large number. There were many players that were entering only to spectate their friends or high rated players.
+ There are some problems regarding the ''friend list'' and the '' /who command''. If an Horde Player is in arena, you can see him in your friend list or by '' /who '' in zones like: Stormwind City, Trade District, Elwynn Forest instead of only ''Horde Zones''. Plus, as i said, the players should appear in their last zone when they are in arena, not in a random generated one. EX: If the player was in Elwynn Forest, if he enters in an arena, it appears in your friend list in zones like ''Stormwind City, Trade District, etc'' instead of displaying their last zone ( In my example, Elwynn Forest. ).

As far as I can see... there weren't any improvements. Even the players who supported this have become more inactive after the removal of the npc.

You added arena spectate , i think you can remove the location/who list restrictions too.
